I wanted to meet you, but ended up keeping one eye the icing-faced monkeys & trying NOT to do the mom's version of "There's Something About Mary" with the icing. Miss Critter & Hop will understand.

Sorry I didn't meet you either but your beautiful kids kept me entertained for awhile!! Orange icing and all!! They are truly the sweetest.

Even though it was a more understated soiree, I loved it. I met a lot of lovely people that I had wanted to me. Hugs to all of you that I did meet! My ability to record everyone I met on here is not so hot, so I' m not even gonna try. And there were a number of people there that I didn't get a chance to meet that I wanted to. Hugs to you too!

Yay! I am the first to post after actually being there.
Met many incredible people. Shark cruising the beach for an hour. Grayt fire!
Shelly was a no-show. Grrr...so was Smiling Joe, both of whom I was looking forward to meeting.
I wish my brain could remember all who I met. I'll try:

Miss Kitty, Sunspotbaby, Riverotter, Aleonard, Hop, Uncle Timmy, Bobby J, DD, Franny, IBD, Kitlit, Romeosmydog. I am sure I missed a few and I apologize. My brain just doesn't save those particular cells.
Saw BB, but she must have been busy early and then I never saw her again. Wanted to thank her for putting this all together.

Weather was very cooperative. Not as windy, surf was calm and the fish and crabs were everywhere. We located right near the waterline this year and it worked out wonderful.

May the next one be even better than this one. Party on!!!

It was great to finally meet you Ash. Sorry Mr. IBD did not make it. He HAD to stay home and watch his team get chomped by the Gators.

Grayt time. I sooooooo enjoyed meeting everyone.

Glad to FINALLY meet you in person. I now don't have to picture you with a viking hat on...

Thanks to organicmama for easing my official entry into sowal society, and for being connected enough to wrangle us a parking space. What a nice way to spend a beautiful fall evening at the beach. I'm just sorry we arrived too late to catch the sharks.

It was fun. Sorry I could not have stayed longer. Had to go to a NRA banquet that I had forgotten about.

That was the first time I had seen a shark so close to shore on the Gulf side. Of course it has been 20 years since I spent days at the beach, but is that becoming pretty normal?

Kudos to whoever brought the pudding shots, and the wings...and special thanks to wrobert, for doing the old boy scout trick to open Fuzz's beer, IBD, for just being you (Fuzz wants a copy of that thing you had), Crazy K for helping me walk (not sure who was helping who), for SGG for driving us up to my uncle's house, where we had parked - which was no easy feat with the CHELCO trucks in the way (no, those noises were not fireworks) - and many others who I can't remember right now, but it will come to me later.

This may have been THE BEST soiree ever!!! Best weather, best water, best bonfire,
best pudding shots, best crowd of SoWallers (although all you absentees were heartily missed)...

Hopefully DD & Sunkist will post some of their pics when they get home. KrazyK was also taking pics with DD's camera... can't imagine how THOSE will turn out... 'cuz KK was in Full KK Mode (not that she was alone on that score)!!!!

Sorry I was getting Miss Kitty out of the Tiger(Kitty) Pit the kids dug and had to evaluate the severe case of hammer toe that she developed. So I missed out on the food. I did however dive in front of OGM and keep her kids from eating the jello. I asked Mr. Shallow Noles Fuzzerini what type of car he had thinking I might recognize him driving down E. Pt W road and he answered "Unmarked" My shirt was also very wet from DD and Miss Kitty crying on it from the Texas win (They are both Texas fans who picked Okkeedokie) Sorry. A few people heard my name and scattered in the opposite direction. SWGB sorry I missed out meeting you and anybody else. Bobby I never found you slaps but Mr Yankee builder(you know who you are) asked what size. He may be wearing them now( he was in charge of the fire) To everyone else?
