A very sincere apology to Canuck who fell in the 3ft deep whole my step son dug...I am so embarrassed:roll:...thank you for being such a sport about it.

It seems I missed some of the soiree because I was rescueing Swafia whose 4 wheel drive decided to malfunction and the sand tried to swallow the F250 and then the guy who thought he could turn around on the beach looking for a parking spot at the Red Bar without 4 wheel.

I met the groom that got married on the beach last night, he was pulling out Swafia with his huge gang and his father-in-law......that was a HOOT. They left the reception for some action and they got it! I was worried when all the guys (about 7 of them) got into the back of the truck for added weight that the chain they were pulling the F250 would snap and pop someones head off. They assured me not to worry because they are Army and with the explosives division!!!!!! I was so reassured....

It was definitely a funn night and it was grayt to see everyone and meet a lot of the sowalers I didn't know....but did know, like Dune-ah...I've known her for years!!!!

And as for the fellow Sowalian that stood in front of me at the .38 Special concert... imagine if Hop had an slightly older brother, curly lighter brown hair, slender, tall, and was having a great time in the VIP section, up toward the stage.

There is a slightly older (yes, married) Hop, but he doesn't fit DKA's description. Hop got his Mama's beauty, and his older brother is a copy of Pop Hop. There are two younger, single Hops, too! Feeling cougarish?

Thanks to organicmama for easing my official entry into sowal society, and for being connected enough to wrangle us a parking space. What a nice way to spend a beautiful fall evening at the beach. I'm just sorry we arrived too late to catch the sharks.

Thanks for taking me, the three crazy nutcases & having to deal with all the sand left in your car afterwards. It was so much fun, as usual, because I felt like I have known you my whole life!
