crazYtoo didn't lead me on like that. After just a couple of nasty PMs she dumped me! But at least it was quick and now I'm back on my feet! I didn't realize the pain you were experiencing.

I've never sent out a nasty except in reply to another. In my whole time on SoWal I've only received two or three nasty PMs all from the same person. I know people who get them all the time.

You know, since this thread has been totally hijacked, is useless in the first place and of absolutely no consequence, let me throw something else in the game. Has anyone besides me noticed how the "thanks" expressed by the posters on the both the left and the right tend to reflect the ideological position of the the thanker? I find it interesting and insightful.

I find it really depends on the topic. Depending on what we are discussing, I am frequently thanking or thanked by people whose political affiliations/opinions I know are quite different from mine but who agree with what I am saying.

Why would you "thank" someone for a post or opinion you disagree with?
