Wisdom Teeth Removal Post-Op Advice Please!

Better yesterday, hurting more today. Some swelling. He asked to keep his teeth (maybe he thought the Tooth Fairy would leave a lot of money for 4 teeth). Anyway, these teeth are in pieces so I am wondering if the oral surgeon took a sledge hammer to the kid!

I've heard of them crushing or breaking impacted teeth to eliminate or reduce gum cutting.

Through "twilight" anesthesia, I'm pretty sure I felt a Mac truck full of jackhammers plowing around in my mouth.

Yeah, they filled me full of Valium and Novocain. I didn't want to say anything till Dargvader got through his, but I looked like the Elephant girl the next day.:shock:

Uh know, but I think he is holding out for a last minute Tooth Fairy appeal since he did not work this semester and is always looking for cash opportunities.

Thanks everyone- back at school, gonna live I think, and hopefully the retainer goes back in today before the teeth start moving and we have to start over with braces.
