Bdarg just said he heard something big out in the woods, like a skunkape.I think he is trying to scare me into staying up and watching for the fire so he can go to bed.:angry:

If you can't spell "y'all" correctly, don't use it. The contraction is meant for the omitted letters (i.e., the "you" in "you all").

It depends on what southerner you speak to. ;-)
You is often shortened to ya, hence the ya'll. Check out the urban dictionary.
But what the hail do I know being from N.Y. where we say you all in it's entirety.
