Wait this isn't a sandbox? That's just it - it's not meant to be a sandbox. At least not one with bullies and trolls. Be nice or leave is a good slogan that you see in NOLA a lot and it is honest and direct and is a good way to run a forum IMHO.
If you want to attack people and post misinformation, then Facebook or Twitter or other social media is the place - not here.
Kurt. Poppaj need one of ‘vacations’“I could have been relaxing at Mar-a-Lago or in the south of France ― which I would prefer to being in this country, frankly.”
Statement by American democracy hating self proclaimed billionaire and jet airplane owner facing 78 counts in three federal indictments who still has not been locked up, paid any bail, still possesses his passport, has a judge he appointed, and constantly whines there is a two tier justice system.
We all need a vacation from politics! Just my opinion. My good hunting and fishing buddy was just diagnosed with stage 3 prostrate cancer. No symptoms. He and I have argued ad nauseum regarding politics. Politics are important but life is more important!Kurt. Poppaj need one of ‘vacations’
This is just my opinion
Unfortunately a sh*t load of religious leaders seem to and they are for certain claiming to speak for God which is certainly impacting their flocks.. Just saying.Your opinion is your opinion
Me I'll stay the course I'm on
If there is a god do you think he gives 1 s**t about our stupid politics
He did.Kurt. Poppaj need one of ‘vacations’

I think freedom of speech should not be abused and there should be a clear line that when a speaker knowingly and intently crosses that line between his/her freedom and another person or persons freedom or safety should lose or be limited to their right to free speech. Just like if you break certain laws you could lose some of your constitutional rights. Trump has clearly crossed the line on many constitutional laws. Just my opinion.I have seen a lot written recently about freedom of speech. I have considered, especially that which I consider extreme. The former Presidents comment reference, " if you come for me I will come for you" and the dead individual from Provos, threat to the Current President and others, and ramifications of this type of speech. Both making a pretty overt threat really bothers me and I would venture that the guy in Provo would claim his speech is legitimate First Amendment Speech in the same way as those who felt the need to encourage a riotous action on January 6 and to encourage, imo, supporters to go after folks who are currently prosecuting the former President. I leave this letter knowing it doesn't answer my questions about those who founded These United States, but does provide a glimpse with regard to what I perceive happen January 6 and is currently happening in our Judiciary. Again, my opinion, like belly buttons and a**holes we all have them.
Yes, it is a time for learning. Until social media, only a few had an opportunity to spew their hate on radio or tv, but now, anyone can, all day long. Same with the darn 2nd amendment. It was written when only one shot could be fired at a time? Had to take time to reload? Now look what guns can do. It is a painful time to learn how to manage these situations and most are failing at it. 21st century was not envisioned in 1776.
