:welcome: back LadyD. Guess I won't ask for the number of that Holiday Inn!!!

You told us all about the Holiday Inn, but what about your accomodations in Inlet Beach?:idontno:

The accommodations at Inlet Beach are as always perfect. Two bedroom townhouse, two and a half baths, with a nice living room level deck with steps right out onto the beach. Nice upstairs smaller decks on the front and back. Fully furnished with washer and dryer. Has been totally remodeled in the living room with entirely new furniture, repainted and has had crown molding added. Really nice. The owner said they are going to remodel the upstairs next. His daughter did all the remodeling inside furniture wise. She is a interior decorator. I think she is from Memphis. The people we rent from used to live here in Memphis. We've rented this same place every time we've been down. We've been renting it for 7 years now. No complaints ever about this place Skunky. ;-)

Welcome back and I'm glad you had a good vacation. Just remember, eating at Taco Bell or Waffle House at the beach is still better than eating at Taco Bell or Waffle House in Memphis. Am I right?

Yeah, I guess I have to agree with you dbuck. But you know, there are the good seafood restaurants and steak places down there that we never eat at because my husband doesn't like the crowds. He won't go to a crowded restaurant here ever. Me, I would hit alot of the popular restaurants down there myself, no problem. I wanted to eat in Pineapple Willys, Sharkys, Captain Anderson's, Angelo's Steak Pit, Schooners, etc. And there were some places people named along 30A that sounded yummy. I feel left out of all of the fun by not getting to eat at any of those places. If we get down in June or later next summer, would love to get together with some of the Sowal folks again and try some other places.
