I love it! We looked for the dang things making all that noise and couldn't find a one. So cute too!! My kids caught a little lizard (named him Geico) in the pool and kept him for a few hours then let him go. We are all fascinated by lizards, frogs, crabs, alligators and amadillos.

That one's so cute! I've only ever seen the wood frogs that are drab colored in a matte finish, not high gloss like the one you found. :idontno:

We have 'em all over our house and they find their way into some pretty strange places. I found one in my tacklebox which hadn't been used in over a week (seemed to be in fine health) and another in the freezer of our outdoor beer 'fridge (not in such fine health).

But I have never seen one with those spots before. Anyone else?

With all the rain we've had there are frogs all over the place. I was out at about 1 am last night and had fun watching a frog gobbling up worms.

We also have a ton of skinks running around. The kind that look like snakes with legs. These things are huge!

 Help me out here JOe - I read that frogs actually freeze in the winter and thaw in the warmth of spring. We have frogs in our pond and they disappear into the water in the winter and emerge in spring looking like mildew-covered lumps. A few days in the sun and they are good as new. Medical scientists actually find them worth studying because of the way they die and come back to life (so to speak). Have you heard of this? :idontno:
