Is The Laundress stuff available other than online? I didn't have time to check out their site. I'm doing laundry.
Hey, Kitty, what washer/dryer did you buy yesterday? What heights are available? It'll save me a lot of research. ;-)

How timely is your question! Just got back from Best Buy. I had narrowed it down to the Maytag or the Bosch, but ended up with the front loading Whirlpool Duet Steam in white off the floor for cost. It was on special and we got 30% off that price....end of season special! It is 53" tall with the pedestal...I have a 55" clearance before the bottom of the overhead cabinet, so it works perfectly! Delivery is Wednesday!
;-)...like you, I am starting a load, now.

That one's not on sale here. The LG is. Online it looks like the Whirlpool is 38" high without the pedestal. How timely is your question! Just got back from Best Buy. Just curious. If they are side-by-side, do the doors swing the same way or opposite ways so it is easier to move the heavy wet laundry to the dryer without having the door in the way?

Really?
My Texas grandfather used to sleepwalk. On several occasions he went to the neighbor's house and took their dishes out of the kitchen cabinet and put them on the counter.
Usually before a major exam according to architect boyfriend who had to take a lot of the same classes! I can't believe it was even explicit enough for him to understand
