Mayor Rahm Emanuel: 'Chicago Always Will Be A Sanctuary City' "To all those who are, after Tuesday's election, very nervous and filled with anxiety ... you are safe in Chicago, you are secure in Chicago and you are supported in Chicago," .....unless you are black, and live in the south side of the Windy City. This idiot's priorities are totally in line with ObamaClinton. It will be his undoing as well.

The LAPD and Denver PD have both publicly stated they will not participate in Trump's deportation efforts. Expect more cities and PD's to do the same.

I fully expect politics rules the safety and well being of the citizens of our country. California was in process of making Obamacare available to illegal immigrants. It is an "in your face" attempt to prioritize open borders. It's why the election went the way it did.

Yes, California wanted to allow illegal immigrants the ablity to use their own money to purchase unsubsidized health insurance through the state exchange.

That's funny, because unsubsidized rates are skyrocketing and California insurers(United/Aetna) were fleeing faster than Clinton Foundation donors. California Obamacare rates to rise 13% in 2017, more than three times the increase of last two years
What does that have to do with allowing someone to spend their own money to insure themselves and their families? Contrary to what rightwingers would have the country believe insurance rates were rising 10 to 12 percent per year pre-ACA. Anyone who doesn't care about a subsidy can still buy insurance on the open market.

How many choices are left in California after all the adverse selection? I'm speaking of citizens. The ones first in line to choose to be effed by the health care industrial complex.

Trump said he will replace the ACA with "something terrific." Sounds like a plan, can't wait.

Bernie had it right. Put everyone together like Medicare and leave the insurance weasels to sell supplemental policies. It is the only reasonable way out of this vortex of stupidity.
