Questions about unemployment

New posts
Welfare is too easy to obtain.
It's all online. Then many get their children on the head pills, more government money, then pills to sell to the community. All of the government aid is ridiculous, they then sell food, pennies on the dollar.
Look around, go into poor neighborhoods, everyone is smoking cigarettes, with pretty nails and cell phones. The coddleing of the lazies is over the top, there is No, " LOSER STIGMA " anymore, those on all the aid are proud, and laugh at us who work hard. In addition, so many think that luxury items are necessities, those are the same people that think fast food and microwave food is cheaper than eating healthy, it's not, it's just easier and goes back to Lazy.
Lastly, as you know, the housing problem, I am not poor, or wealthy, I just thank God I am not raising kids now days, RENTS TOO DAMN HIGH...I don't see how anyone on the lower end of the pay scale makes it.
Welfare reform!!!!!
Period.

Bring back the little seasonal worker housing like in ' Dirty Dancing'.
Immigrants get funding.
Yet Americans live in the woods and the streets. I am not a bleeding heart, but monies should go to Veterans and citizens first.

Quit feeding the bears they forget how to hunt.

Everything is not acceptable in a civilized society.

Picking employees from the pool I see, scary.

I would love to work in Walton county. I own a home in Santa Rosa County which I am stuck in. Summer after summer I look at the want adds, I would leave this house, for the summer, move there for seasonal work if anything was in the 500-600 range for a studio. I know the industries are different, construction vs hospitality. Per Diem can't be paid to a dishwasher or servers. I will move back someday soon.
So I just drive over once or twice a week to play. I am not a fan of the beaches in my two counties.
There is no place like South Walton County. Love love love!!

Very clever, snarky little replies I am gathering. I am evidently smart enough to really understand them.
I am just pointing out the problems to this issue that is not new. I am seeing it in my family, community, and my life experience.i always drove over an hour to work, and live in more affordable neighborhoods.

Yes, all of society's ills are the fault of those lazy ass poor people. I guess that's why the bible is chock full of verses where you find Jesus expressing his disdain for them.

I marvel at the illegal immigrants who are too lazy to work, are leeching off the system, yet somehow manage to take all of our jobs. How they manage to pull that off is beyond me.

And how does an immigrant take a job? Do they pull a gun and demand you give it up? A job can not be taken it must be given. It is given by the "job creators" the wingers praise so often but never hold accountable when when the company is mismanaged resulting in massive layoffs or moved to another country to cut costs.

This county suffers from underemployment.

Lots of jobs available that don't cover the bills.

And also tend to be boom and bust based on the season. Lots of folks that can will end up with a job in Destin-Ft Walton, PCB, or the big shipping distribution center in Mossy Head in the name of it being easier to pay bills from November through February because they're getting a good number of hours that time of year.
