I seem to recall someone mentioning that President Obama also broke the law with some recess appointments that he made and the Supreme Court affirmed it. That doesn't bother you? And before you mention it, I'm aware that Republican presidents also have broken laws. We seem to only want to go after politicians we don't like. Isn't that the program? As I said in another post, all I can do about it is vote and the choices aren't very good.

No question there are illegalities by many politicians, but if you read any of my post I pretty much stay out of national politics because, 1 I feel I am farther away and 2 I feel I have more opportunity to make an impact closer both at State and Local levels. Usually I am not disappointed in my elected national leaders until they leave office and more so I don't have the opportunity to have some sort of close relationship that is afforded to me in the Local and State arena. Please don't mistake that last comment as to mean I know Gov Scott, but I have had the opportunity to communicate with those who support him in both Chambers, some that I like and some, not so much.
As to recess appointments I hardly believe President Obama is the first to do so and as for illegalities in office I abhor the lies and deceit from our elected officials no matter whether I voted for them or not. I have always tried to maintain decorum when speaking of those we elect and unlike some, I will say that whoever is in the offices we have the opportunity to elect they are my Representative, Senator and my President whether I like them or not. I hope that answers your question and clears up how I deal with what level of government.
