Last week, Gov. Rick Scott made history when it was revealed that he had used nearly $1 million — all of it your tax dollars — to settle allegations that he hid public records.

Yes, he used your money to settle his legal problems........................

Attorney General Pam Bondi paid to make this case go away as well, since she was also named in the suit. Her office gave $75,000. The Governor's Office spent an additional $120,000.

Oh, and they also pilfered $445,000 from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection — money meant to keep your air clean and water safe — to make the governor's legal problems disappear....................................................................................................................................................................................

It’s still too early to crown him with the title of Worst Governor Ever, but none in modern memory has worked harder to conceal his actions or spent more of the public’s money covering them up.

Scott wants to be remembered for creating jobs, and he will be.

This is not a demo/repub issue. It's criminal behavior from a man known to have a virtue deficit. I would not defend this garbage from anyone. Scott is behaving like Hillary...above it all. After he carried millions away from his massive HCA government theft, I can well understand his increasingly emboldened approach. What is incredible to me is that he was elected by a camel's hair twice... and reelected by folks that know his troubled past. Is this the best we can do?

According to some he is the best... To be honest if it had been any other Republican, CFO Atwater or the Agriculture Commissioner Putnam I would have voted Republican and as far as I am concerned they have been tainted because of the termination of FDLE Boss. I suppose a win by 50,000 votes is a mandate.
