JOB TITLE: Phlebotomist
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Main roles:
·Responsible for the collection, administration and proper processing of lab work (includes blood, urine, stool, cultures), drug screen collections (urine or hair), DNA collections, and immunizations.
WORK HOURS: Full-time 35-40 hours a week
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
·Good phlebotomy skills – minimum 1 year experience
·Must be Phlebotomist, MA, LPN or RN
·Ability to multi-task
·Basic computer skills
·Good communication skills
ACCOUNTABLE FOR:
·Processing all lab work specimens correctly
·Processing all drug screens correctly
·Processing all DNA collections correctly
·Administering immunizations correctly
·Using all computer programs proficiently, making sure all information is current and correct
·Administrative duties
·Ordering of supplies
·Maintenance of office equipment
·Keep office areas clean and tidy
Other responsibilities as given by Office Manager or Operations Manager
Salary range $10-$14 with benefits
