I am only "bashing" Obama because for any hard working American he has been totally inept and ineffective. Believe what you want, but all actual facts concerning our present state as a nation bear this out.

He didn't cause all of our problems. Neither should you expect things to be better under any president in the current situation. DC is gridlocked. Corporations and lack of campaign finance reform has us in a ridiculous situation.

Also I think he's had to concentrate pretty hard not wanting to mess up being the first black president. I'd bet he's had more death threats and maybe attempts than all the presidents before him combined. It's got to be a lot of pressure when viewed through the lens of history.

Before he took the oath I knew that he was a facing an impossible situation with the economy and wartime considerations. I give him his due that he's been able to keep it together and make actual progress in the face of a do-nothing congress and impossible partisanship.

I just think one can't generalize about who is satisfied with Obama's performance and who is not based on their socioeconomic status. People who live in this locale ought to see the big picture and remember that we are a big country with 50 states, that as a whole overwelmingly supported the president twice and, would probably back him a third time in light of the likely Republican opposition. That's just the reality. Don't shoot the messenger. Republicans need to fix their party.

There's so many of them, and they all seem a little desperate. I wonder if any of them are contemplating going transgender so he/she can go up against Hillary tit to tit.

I was looking at Rand Paul's website and he was only running against Hillary Clinton. I am looking at candidates and if they are already attacking another without detailing their positions then I quickly lose interest. Rand Paul did talk about some of his postions but some concern me where others make me interested.

I'm really a little bit bothered by the addition of Trump. I know we all think he's an arrogant buffoon, but we can't stop watching him. I'm concerned because the overwhelming motivation for most Americans is to be entertained rather than be informed. I'm concerned that enough of us are so bored looking at our phones, that his antics will be what we want: entertainment! He will always have the ability to get attention. He is a master at grabbing the spotlight.
