I'm the Decider

I think that George has shown his true intentions by allowing the oil companies to take advantage of the country and set prices as they see fit.
I would love to read your explanation as to how you believe the government should determine what prices businesses can charge for their products.

I love him too! He is so much fun to watch on TV-good looking and seems to be smart. That's more than enough to impress me!

where to start? does he really believe all that he says? does he really think we believe it anymore, or ever? i surely wouldn't want the track record he's leaving behind. the populace is numb, and therefor apathetic. he seems to just move past his disasters to the next disaster, sweeping the last one under the carpet, in hopes enough of us will forget. it appears, to me, that we have moved from a presidency to a monarchy, he does what he wants, legal or not, making up new rules as he goes. i want him to leave immediately, but know that the dems have no one able to step in.

I don't think he hopes we will forget anything-I don't think he cares what we remember, what we forget, what we want, or what we think. He doesn't care-period! He is publicly abrasive, condescending and sarcastic, privately he is a coward, an over-privileged butt-kissing racist yes man. The voters may have put him in office :bang: , but the voters are not even considered in his decision-making process.

My husband voted for him, twice, and donated enough money to his campaign to get a signed thank you letter for him, thanking him for his support, blah blah blah. When it cost me almost $50 to fill my gas tank last week, I called my husband and asked him if he could make a phone call to his good buddy George and maybe pull some strings to get this gas price down for us. You know all the rest of George's buddies and family members aren't affected by the price of gas-the gas they use for their planes and limos are paid for by us, the American people!! If it wasn't for the media, they wouldn't even know what gas cost!

Whew, I could really get going here, but I'll stop.

cantore? really? can you say attention whore? watching him during the hurricanes was hilarious.

Well, we will know exactly what we are getting ourselves into in the beginning.

Other countries would be scared of him visiting since hurricanes seem to follow him everywhere he goes! That might take care of Iran!

Wow, now he's reading the front page! I wonder about those voices...

Cantore Can '08

I'd love to be his campaign manager. He's a cutie too. Mama likey. There's just something about a man who hangs out in the driving rain. Does it for me every time. For a while, when Wfunn called me, his picture popped up. Actually, I think it still does! :clap_1:

Poor Telly...You may be right. I just like to make lists sometimes. And his name popped into my head.

Dont put words in to my mouth that I think the gov should determine prices businesses should charge. I did not say that.

It is clear the oil companies are making record profit since they started these high gas prices. It is also clear that entire communities and industries are suffering because of their greed. The Government should step in to protect consumers from companies that take advantage of their people by price gauging.

Thats all I meant. :idontno:
