P.S. If she had previously registered to vote in this County with her valid "Florida Only Drivers License" and voted in this past election I'm still not sure she violated any law. If you don't have a valid DL they only require you to provide the last 4 digits of your Social Security number.

Ms. Harris's DL didn't expire until Aug. 27, 2014. The elections were held Aug. 26, 2014

The State of Florida allowed one to have a "Florida Only Drivers" which allowed someone to keep the license of their home state. On Nov. 1, 2009 the law changed to comply with the Federal ID Act. Those who were previously issued licenses that were still valid could continue to use them until they expired.

Sounds to me like that is what Ms. Harris referred to in the video. According to Ms. Harris the "Florida Only Drivers License" didn't expire until Aug. of this year and she has applied for another license.

Until Aug. 27, 2014 she was a legal Florida resident according to State Statue. Unless she voted in the last election or has minor children in school (which would require her to have her automobile registered in the State of Florida) I still fail to see where she has violated any law.

There is nothing that says you must own property in the State to be a legal Florida resident.

It is just questionable, as are a lot of things it seems in this county. To be elected or appointed it seems to me it is the time you spend in the area that you represent. There is obviously major bastardization of this principle. I live in a neighborhood that the HOA is comprised of homeowners that do not live here full time yet they control the neighborhood and the few of us that do live here full time have to live with, literally, their decisions. I do plan on running in the next election to hopefully represent our interests. I cant help but think this is the situation with Ms. Harris too, technically she is a resident, but it sure does sound like she buys a lot of groceries in Birmingham.

State law supersedes any local ordinances albeit we are in agreement that lot's of things are questionable in this county. I have to wonder why a has been County Commissioner, an ex-school board member and his wife along with other dregs in our County would go to all this trouble? Ms. Harris is not a public official, she is a private citizen, *appointed* to the Planning Board and the only thing I can see she is guilty of (if it's even her fault) is that someone used discolored material. The only thing she is required to do is remove it and having been made aware of the issue I think she has made it abundantly clear she intends to address it.

Did that indiscretion warrant all this other drama?

Honestly, I'd buy my groceries in Birmingham too if I was unable to shop in peace locally.

For those who have all these questions why not make a list and simply ask Ms. Harris to answer them. You know exactly where she is and it doesn't appear she is the type of person who would go into hiding. It would sure save a lot of time and all this childish speculation.

Really? Since you and your motley crew are so good about presenting documentation, I'm sure you will have no problem proving that.

I have never met the woman and wouldn't know her if we passed on the street but I am well aware of the lengths some folks will go to in this county including, ex local officials, some elected, some disgraced but all with an ax to grind.

For those who don't know, a sock puppet is an online identity used for purposes of deception. The last 3 or 4 identities who registered here recently to post this drivel in regard to Ms. Harris fit that description and was my reference to "motley crew".

I have my own suspicions that it isn't so much a "crew" as it is a single individual who happens to know their way around computers. JMHO.
