Friends of Eden Gardens State Park:
Eden’s Fall Film Series is BACK!

There’s nothing quite like a movie under the oak trees at Eden Gardens! Grab your chairs, blankets, and favorite people, and join us for three evenings of outdoor films in the park.

We’re kicking off this year’s lineup on October 8 at 6:30 PM with The Paper Bear!

This family-friendly film celebrates the incredible biodiversity of Northwest Florida and is a wonderful way to learn more about the natural world right here in our own backyard.

And the fun continues! Check out the rest of our lineup:

October 8 | Paper Bear
A family-friendly film celebrating the biodiversity of Northwest Florida.

October 15 | The Princess Bride
A beloved classic filled with adventure, romance, and plenty of quotable moments. As you wish!

October 22 | Frogs
Back by popular demand! This crowd favorite is an eco-horror film that was actually filmed right here at Eden Gardens. What better place to watch it than under the very same oak trees?

Event Details:
October 8, 15 & 22 | 6:30 PM
Eden Gardens State Park
️ Films are free with paid park admission ($4 per car)
Bring your chairs, blankets, and coolers!

Three films, three beautiful evenings, and one perfect setting. Come enjoy the fall weather, spend time with friends and family, and experience the magic of movies beneath the oaks.

Mark your calendars, spread the word, and we’ll see you under the trees!

Such a cool series in a beautiful place. Paper Bear is a special film made by Arix Zalace who lives around the corner.

Frogs scared me when I was a kid. To get to see it where it was filmed is creepy, campy fun.

The Princess Bride is classic!

Oct 15 film canceled

Cancelled Event: Eden's Fall Film Series The Princess Bride Thursday October 15th

Due to ongoing Hurricane cleanup, we unfortunately need to cancel this Thursday’s showing of The Princess Bride at Eden Gardens. We just need a little more time to clear debris and ensure the park is safe for visitors.

Thank you to everyone who planned to join us, and to our wonderful sponsors for helping make this event possible: Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County, Central Square Records, Bailey Advisory Group 30A, The Art of Simple & Grayton Beer Company.

We’re disappointed to miss another evening under the oak trees with you, but we hope you’ll join us on October 22nd for Frogs, the classic eco-horror film that was filmed right here at Eden Gardens!

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued love for our beautiful park. We can’t wait to welcome you back under the oaks!
