Contractor Woes

Hoping for information that can help me overcome this loser. The long and short of it is: I moved down here a few years ago from Nashville. I operate a couple of different companies here, one of them being a contracting/consulting firm. Although I am certainly known to have a good reputation, I currently find myself in a peculiar situation with a local builder; one that performed in the most unconscionable manner. I am asking for help from some of the good people in the community that may frequent this board, as I have seen how the man is almost a household name around town and for many years. Considering this is my first post and also the insolent, litigious nature of the builder I will not mention him by name here...so you shouldn't either :)
I do not live for drama, and this is not a pot-stirring thread. In the kindest of regards, I am simply that anyone with previous experiences with this person to maybe message or email me any information or data etc. that would assist me, He acts real cutesy and clever with contract law... We shall see! He screwed over my client also, a wonderful couple from GA. I hope to take it all the way. Thank you in advance!

Have you filed a complaint with the state against his license?

Not yet, but do intend to file with the County and State in the days and weeks to come. He is a state certificate holder...as such the County has limited authority in disciplining him. They can however suspend or revoke his permitting privileges in the County.
