I'm looking for a puppy to give my kids for Christmas. Does anyone have any leads on puppies that will be ready for Christmas? We're in SoWal so we'd like to find one within a reasonable distance (NW Florida, South Alabama, South Georgia).

Breed is not too important right now--I want to see what my choices are. However, we'd like a puppy that will grow up to be medium-sized. A mixed breed is o.k. too. It will be adored by 4 beautiful children.

Most definitely. I love how dogs forgive and forget.

I love my dog very much but she seems sad because of my cat being dead.My dog is very smart I think she knows what is going on with me i love her

That is so true KB, the thing I love the most about dogs is that unconditional love they give us. I wish more people were like dogs!

I love dogs and cats and all animals equel they are all special to me but i do like how when you have a bond with an animal they love and care for you back it makes you feel safe at night love em :clap_1:

I'm sorry to hear about your cat. I had 2 dogs that we had for a long.long time. They both died last year. We really, really missed them. Then we got 2 new puppies. They are so much fun. But, I still remember our other "babies" every day. I know there are a lot of happy times that you will remember about your cat too.

Me too! Grayton Kid (GK)...you are a special person to love animals so much! I knew I liked you right away!!! I do like cats, but I LOVE dogs! When we lost our first sheltie named Missy, I thought I would cry forever. 18 months later, we finally brought home a new puppy named Molly and she has brought so much fun and love to us! I think Missy sometimes speaks to us through her!!! I always think of Missy and think how happy she is in Dog Heaven running around without pain or illness! That makes it easier for me!
