you be sure to post a photo if you come home with one, ok?
Good for you CCK,

The first time I went to the pound, I was dragged there. I wanted a brand new Great Dane. I didn't want a used dog which was rejected by someone else. The first dog that we took out for a short walk sat in my lap and I could not leave without him. My wife at the time, who dragged me to the pound said, "Well, we can go home and think about it." I said, "this dog may not be here tomorrow. I want to take him home with me, and we did."

Today, if I went to the pound, I would have to come home with a dog. Actually, every time I have been to the pound, I have come home with a new member of the family. :D How could I not?

:lolabove: Not really. We had to stop getting real trees. The only bad thing he did was pee on real Christmas trees!!! My husband got so mad one time he threw the whole tree - lights, orniments, tinsle and all - out the back door. I can laugh about it now, wasn't funny at the time! :floor:

Sounds like something HMM would do! I can't stop laughing at that image!

I did the same thing- the cat climbed the tree and pulled it down not 2 minutes after the last ornament went on :pissed:

I threw the tree across the living room- it's amazing how much strength comes out of anger! After that, we wired the tree to the ceiling.

I know someone who heads up a small office where it was very important for everyone to work well together. He will not hire anyone who does not own a dog. He says that dog people are great communicators.

I'm always leery of people that don't like dogs.

You make me laugh and remember the time I was 7 months pregnant with my first and HMM was pulling an all nighter at the printer. I woke up at three am and he was not there and he had not called to tell me where he was. I called every printer in the yellow pages and then sat up in bed thinking he was dead on the highway! He showed up at 6:15 am, exhausted, walks in the bedroom and says.."why are you up?" I threw the yellow pages at him and levitated off the bed and followed him into the soon to be nursery where I picked up the ironing board w/iron and heaved it at him!!!! Needless to say, HMM has always called to let me know where he'll be! Dam* he must have been skeered!
