Best Rock concert you've EVER been to

[DD]

THis was the topic on the radio this morning. I find it hard to choose just one, but if I had to, I guess I'd go with THE BOSS, Born in the USA tour.
Yours?

[Mango]

Judas Priest. He rode out on a motorcycle and blew up the stage at the end.

[Will B]

could be one of two...Ozzy's last concert with Randy Rhodes as his guitar player in Atlanta in '83 or Dire Straits Money for Nothing tour...brilliant!

[seacrestkristi]

Pink Floyd, Dark Side Of The Moon Tour, Atl Civic Center
Led Zeppelin, Houses Of The Holy Tour, Old Atl Stadium
Stevie Ray Vaughan, Starwood Ampitheatre, Nashville
Eric Clapton, rock show, The Pyramid, Memphis
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, oh yeah
The Boss, Lakeland, Fl
Old Crow Medicine Show, The Ryman
Allman Bros., ZZ Top back in the ATL in the 70's

Oooh, I had a hard time pickin' one. 'd all these faves.
Pavarotti and Bocelli brought a tear to my eyes.
If I had to go with one it would be Stevie Ray.

Does Van Morrison count? It was FANTASTIC. Maebe Funke and Olive can attest.

[Mermaid]

Color me jealous. I've seen a bunch, but never got to see Zeppelin nor Floyd when Roger Waters was still with the band.

I got to see SRV about three weeks before his death. Unreal.

Concur totally on Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers. Consistently best live band going if you ask me.
