Mine too. Joined the forum when Kurt and Smiling Joe were reporting on Hurricane Ivan. We were evacuated for that one and had just been there 4 days. The pictures were amazing!

I think that is when I joined too! We were planning our stay and we didn't know if we should come or not. My husband actually found sowal.com and then he wished he hadn't because I was glued to the computer day and night after that!!!

I’ll have to look 6th Gen up and see if I can find the progression leading up to the banned meltdown. He used to make me sooooo angry, one of the very few that actually got to me. Then he showed a good sense of humor at last and I got to enjoying his posts whether I agreed or we argued. By “showed a good sense of humor” I mean that he finally laughed along with me as I humanely and carngly mocked him. Then he fired back at me with a few good ones. Ah the good old days. Remember how he used to tell everyone how intelligent he was and how high his IQ was? I got to where I enjoyed that too.

I stayed away from the political forum!!!! It skeered me!!
