Great beach weather

I have to say the weather has been perfect for my husband and myself this week. Came in Monday around 11:30 a.m. and was hoping there would be no rain and there hasn't during the day at all so far, only last night late. Just one problem with our trip, not long enough ever. Have to go home Saturday which is so not fun. Dread it totally.

Heading there Sunday after a football game in Atlanta Saturday. Love being able to bundle a 30A trip with a football game First time to visit in September. (This past May was first visit in May.)
Have the meal list ready plus want to add one untried place. That's getting harder to do since we dine out every day Shorter trip, so we might park car for the 5 days and walk or ride bikes.

We have rented bikes also. Road yesterday morning, was really hot. Was too tired to ride Monday after just getting in. Had to go shop for groceries. And the Gulf Coast Jam starts Friday in PC Beach which is where we are so it will be heavy traffic for sure then. Can't believe how little traffic there has been and how many of the places have very few people staying in them. Not what we usually see since we come the same time every year.

It's gonna be a crazy weekend. But I don't remember a more beautiful summer of awesome weather. Hot yes but beautiful.

We will be going home Saturday morning. We already saw a sign on Back Beach Rd. (P.C. Beach Parkway) warning of heavy traffic this weekend. The venue is at Frank Brown Park but people will be at the bars and restaurants, etc. before and after the concerts. So I'm going to try and do things tomorrow since I don't know what traffic we will encounter Friday along Front Beach. And as for hot, we have had very hot in Memphis, especially July ( around 99 a lot of days in July.

Well, our beach trip is over I hate to say. However, the weather stayed good for us. It's hotter here at home than at the beach. Still wish we were there. Was a really long trip back. The traffic was not bad at all yesterday or this morning like we expected with it being Labor Day weekend. Hope to be able to come back next year.
