Who will win Florida Governor's race?

New posts
I always love the conservative rebuttal: "mistakes were made on both sides". Explain to me what progressive mistake was made that was as big as the invasion of Iraq. Explain to me what progressive mistake was made that was as big as the Financial Collapse of 2008.

Ah yes. O.J. was charged with killing two white people. How many white people rioted, looted, and burned property when that verdict came down?

Why are you dragging race into this? The point of my comment was to point out that just because someone hasn't been convicted (Rick Scott), doesn't necessarily let the person off the hook in the eyes of the public. The most obvious example I could think of is OJ, whom most people believe "did it". If you just want to throw in a barb that's got nothing to do with the discussion, then that's your right, but I'm going to call it for what it is.

The only thing "progressive" is the dementia that continually refuses to acknowledge all the "progressive D's" who voted FOR the invasion.

Further, if you truly believe the collapse was a one party issue, you are far beyond having any type of reasonable discussion.

I'm sorry, but what does the OJ verdict have to do with the Florida Governors race? And isn't the Ferguson discussion about race? And aren't the majority of African Americans liberals? It would follow that most of the rioters in Ferguson are liberals (Oh, I'm sorry, progressives).

I'm not saying some D's didn't vote for the war. I'm saying it was a Neocon idea from start to finish, starting the day after 9-11 and fueled by conservative lies.

The Financial Collapse happened after 7-1/2 years of Bush tax cuts for the rich, and dr-regulation of the banking system. Both big conservative ideas. Coincidence?

It was an extremely appropriate analogy, and I just got through explaining the reasoning behind it very clearly. Your anger is taking hold of you and causing you to lash out with a barrage of non-sequiturs. I'll state it one more time. Acquittal doesn't necessarily exonerate someone. I've always considered conservatives generally to be impaired when it comes to understanding analogies. Youre response is a prime example. I find it impossible to take your post seriously. Please tell me those aren't your actual thought processes and that you're in fact messing with me just to get a reaction. If that's the way you really think, then that is very frightening.

m1a1mg, I think I clash with you on a number of issues, but you at least offer some insight. Can you teach the others?

You are making stuff up to make yourself feel better.

From 9/11 until the invasion went bad, Dems were just as war mongering as the right. And the media played right along.

Coincidence? Yes. Both parties are fully in bed with their corporate masters. Take note of who the "progressive" Obama has put into positions of authority in government financial positions.
