I just got awake from a nap and I feel drunk and stupid. What happened? I have no idea! I had some strange dreams of being in a foreign place and my friends decided to go off to a touristy thang while I hung out with some locals.......maybe they slipped me a micky! I feel weird!

I love the light beaming through my house this time of day!

I so wish I could capture this light and share it with y'all. For some reason it reminds me of Granny and that's really special. I get a groovy AM light too, but this one in the evening is just glorious! And, it's only here for a few minutes! ;-)

Simple pleasures are the best!

Just like the breakfast I prepared for daughter and hubby this morning. A really good cheese omelette cooked in EVOO, along with English muffins and cherry preserves. Daughter added reduced-fat chunky peanut butter to her English muffin and preserves -- it tasted divine!

I didn't know where else to post this and while it is totally irrelevant to everyone except Betty and me, today is our 28th anniversary. I only hope she survives her cancer to enjoy 28 more. She is, indeed, the love of my life and I tell her so every day. I suggest you do the same to yours if you don't already.

Hope you had a great time celebrating together!
We'll do a belated toast if she is feeling up to attending the soiree!
