That one's not on sale here. The LG is. Online it looks like the Whirlpool is 38" high without the pedestal.

Just curious. If they are side-by-side, do the doors swing the same way or opposite ways so it is easier to move the heavy wet laundry to the dryer without having the door in the way?:idontno:

The pedestal is 15" high (has a drawer in it). Yes, the doors open opposite one another.

I had been to two other places looking and Best Buy is the only place I saw the LG. It was our first choice at BB until we saw the special on the Whirlpool.

How timely is your question! Just got back from Best Buy. I had narrowed it down to the Maytag or the Bosch, but ended up with the front loading Whirlpool Duet Steam in white off the floor for cost. It was on special and we got 30% off that price....end of season special! It is 53" tall with the pedestal...I have a 55" clearance before the bottom of the overhead cabinet, so it works perfectly! Delivery is Wednesday!

;-)...like you, I am starting a load, now.

Oh happy day!!! I heard you have a laundress headed your way.

Daughter just sent me this link. She says it classifies as food porn.
The Pioneer Woman Cooks - Ree Drummond

Also, look at the photos for the salad at The Pioneer Woman Cooks - Ree Drummond.

Love the PW! It is food porn!!

Cherry trees in bloom, are one of life's greatest visual pleasures. I love Spring in Memphis.

Minnie I've never been to Memphis, but I can't wait to get the tour at the end of April. Those trees are absolutely breath taking....something we don't get to see here. Lucky you!!! Thanks for posting those!!!!

Really?

My Texas grandfather used to sleepwalk. On several occasions he went to the neighbor's house and took their dishes out of the kitchen cabinet and put them on the counter. :idontno: He had no memory of doing this.

My grandmother found my father out on the front porch in the middle of the night when he was young. She said he was calling the mules. He also had no recollection of it.

My suitemate in college said that my roommate and I had conversations in our sleep--Tammy would talk in her sleep and I would answer her, or vice versa, and Tecia said that we usually talked about entirely different subjects...

Kind of scary what you can say or do when the screen saver is on.

I can't decide what kind of mood I am in. Maybe after a few more psots in the political thread, it will become clear. I am kinda' feeling like a crusty old man today.

:bang:...now I will go pay bills.

Wow!

I talk in my sleep when I am thinking/stressing about something or just having goofy dreams - my campers were quite entertained when during my "sleep talking" I told them "be sure and drink enough water on portages". They were quite impressed that even while asleep I was on duty 24/7! :D

Thanks Kat glad you enjoyed them and thanks to those that sent PMs and Rep that you enjoyed them too.

Here is another really great photo that Kurt shared on the Home Page.

Those new Schick commercials are vulgar!

Advertising a new women's razor w/ a commercial where any er, "shrub" they walk by becomes well groomed!
