I don't think W. Robert would lie....he's just having fun with it. And apparently, it made the ladies happy. ;-) I'd almost believe it myself if I read about it in the paper but the photos are a dead giveaway that it's some hired impersonator...and they are quite pricey. Especially if it's this Ron Rodriguez guy (had to research it...turns out there are several look-a-likes but he is the best). He was only so approachable because he WASN'T Johnny Depp. JD is one of the least likely guys I'd expect to show up for a Chamber event...I don't care who his friends are. But I still like him all the same.

Many years ago, probably about 1994--Mr. dd and I were at the Colonial Golf Tournament and I went for margs. I swear, there was this guy in line that was the spitting image of JFK, Jr. I mean, all the girls were flocking around him. Hell, I don't know..coulda been him. Anyhoo, I was gone a loooong time, and when I got back, I told Mr. dd that I had just been chatting with JFK, Jr. He believed it, never told him any different. Still believes it to this day.
