Yellow jackets hurt like the dickens!!!! That's what stung me and I cried like a baby. Has the hurty itchy phase started yet Kitty?

Why is it that I've often been stung by yellow jackets, but not once bitten by a snake? You are right that those suckers hurt, and they terrify me more than snakes.

I know this ounds harsh but it works. As quick as you can after the sting poor ammonia on it. It's crazy how fast it'll take the sting away. I stepped on one in the arch of my foot and my neighbor saw me out the window and brought out a jug of ammonia and poured on it. Wow did it work!
