I talked to one of them last night!I've only talked to one of my daughters today.
Dinner was awesome BTW. Better than usual for some reason. It wasn't just the effects from having a pre-meal cocktail (which I rarely do), an awesome scotch and water which made me a little loopy.

OOPS (re: forgetting Father's Day)!
Tomorrow is Father's Day and Big D's birthday, and we will also be celebrating our anniversary (the 20th) early so we can celebrate all three events with Beach Jacket. Shrimp and grits at Blue Ridge Grill in Atlanta tomorrow after church -- YUM!
I have been making a birthday cake (cherry pound cake) and wrapping mine and BJ's gifts for Big D for almost three hours. We just got back from the beach, and I'm tired (not complaining -- I'm blessed). TEX-MEX as soon as the cake is done!

No, not a lot of gifts. The cake took forever. And I'm not accustomed to wrapping. BJ usually does that, but she's not home this weekend because she had to work last night.
