   yep! and I can go out and by a 89 honda civic for 500 bucks but then I might look better in a 67 GTO with matching Vin numbers and block with cool redlines and in english racing green! but hey that would set me back about 45k ......and I couldn't make it from one end of 30A to the other without filling up.......oh well! Go Old school or go home!

my thoughts exactly! i want an vintage vespa! i have been shopping for one of these and this is a pretty good deal! swantree...is it in sowal? can i see it?

I hear you regarding the vintage part. I have a car which is 41 years old, but I don't drive it regularly. Like the thought of flying in an airplane which is 40 years old, I would feel less worried if it were 3 years old, if I were relying upon it daily. My friend bought a purple restored Vespa, not sure of the model year, and she loves it. She bought a purple helmet to match. I like the Vespas, but like the BMW motorcycles, I just cannot afford them.

Got any pics of this Vespa? Has it been restored? What is the low down on it?

been busy ....so I'll put some up after the weekend. I also have a 1970 honda 175cc that i've just put a spanking new tank on and am hoping to get back from Birmingham where I have it worked on......soon! I like the old BMW as well, don't see many of them round. Anybody want to buy an 97 F250 for $6500! new top end on the motor...pretty clean. extra cab...3 door!
